What is depression? 

Depression is a mood disorder that can cause feelings of sadness and loss of interest.  It affects how the person feels, thinks, and behaves, and it can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.  Many individuals describe depression as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger that interfere with their daily lives.  Experiencing depression can feel heavy, difficult, and lonely.  Are you feeling hopeless, isolated, and not your usual self?
